The frontpage was re-coded in CSS and XHTML in January 2007.
Visit the World is a full featured travel and tourism website with a collection of guides with 'live' links to hotels, flights and holidays.
Users can review a host of facts and tourist information about destinations all over the world. Also they can search for and book their holidays from the site.
The site is made up of many mini-sites each localised and given their own URL.
The site was launched in 2005 and is was re-coded in XHTML and CSS in spring 2007.

Websites developed using open source Content Management Systems (CMS).
Web based content management is most effective when controlled by the people who are creating and publishing the content.
If you know that you have a lot of content needing to go into a database then you may decide to implement a software 'CMS'. But it will still need developing, testing and de-bugging. And then you need training to use it and support to maintain the technical 'back-end'.
With that in mind there are some excellent Content Management System software tools that can be customized to precisely meet your needs.
The Rathayatra website is for the all UK ISCKON chariot festivals.
Users can find out more about coming events and see galleries of previous Rathayatras.

Began in 2001 this site was originally intended as the website for the London Rathayatra. It has since expanded to include information on most of the main European Rathayatra festivals as well.

The Fflach website uses the PHPwebsite, open source content management system created by Appalachian State University.
The site features bi-lingual, Welsh and English pages throughout and also has Artist information, release information and MP3 snippets of all tracks to preview before ordering.
